holy fucking crap!

yes, it's true. I'm buying a car tonight (hopefully.. if it hasn't been scooped up by some fucking asshole already). It's nothing special, but it looks nice, runs good, and is affordable. I forgot about the DMV though. God that's going to be a pain in the ass. I have so much I need to do! Everything from renewing my license to registering the car! Everything else is going to be a breeze! I can get insurance at anytime now a days thanks to the internet, and I can get the car smogged on the weekend! but the DAMN DMV has to make things so damned complicated. I can at least make an appointment for a week from today, which isn't so bad. But damnit RAWR!!!! I hate the DMV. I'm trying to print out all the forms I'm going to need so I can just waltz on in hand them everything they're going to need and be like PLEASE TAKE MY MONEY!!! while praying everything goes smoothly.

I almost can't believe it. I haven't owned a car in 3 years. I rarely drive anymore, occasionaly I drive Leslie's car but usually only when she's had too much to drink... I have $365 in parking tickets I need to pay off too! But it's so worth it. I miss driving. Going anywhere I damned well choose to at anytime alone or with friends. I'm tired of taking trains, buses, and expensive cabs all the time!

driving = freedom (which is sort of sad)
