Perfecting My Walk

I’ve never had to struggle with my weight. I’ve never dieted. I have felt fat and I have obsessed about dropping the 5 or 10 pounds every now and then but really I am one of the lucky ones. If I would only eat just a tad bit healthier, and exercise a little more regularly I’d be in tip-top perfect shape. Today I saw for he first time in a long time that I am still skinny and this makes me feel good.

I’m determined to not let money be any kind of issue for me this year. I have two jobs. I’m going to pay off some bills that need to be paid, and set a little aside each month so that I have it when I need it. I’m going to start being just a tiny bit more responsible about everything. I’ll be writing down where every dollar goes. Whether it’s for gas, food, clothing, going out, rent, bills, whatever. I’m keeping a journal and will tally it all up at the end of the month to see where I should be cutting back.

I’m trying to be accountable for all things related to me. I know there will always be things out of my control, but hopefully not too many.
