MLKJDay
Yesterday was so sunny, warm and bright, it hurt my eyes just to look outside and today is total contrast. Grey, dark, damp and foggy. So foggy in fact that when I look out the windows here at the office where I usually see the tiny white squares that are really huge mansions worth millions and millions of dollars that lie on the other side of the bay on the coast in the cities of Tiberon and Saucilito all I see is grey nothing. When I look out towards the ocean, where the Golden Gate bridge stands all I see is a gaping void. There is no ocean only grey nothing.
It’s like a chapter from the never ending story.
Working on a holiday sucks. If I was black I’d have this holiday off.

I'm not from the States so I don't know about the ritual of Martin Luther King Day, but does it actually seem to you that black people are entitled to the day off and you aren't? Wouldn't everybody of every colour want to celebrate MLK Day? Isn't it racist to not allow everybody to? Just wondering...
And second comment, I used to have no idea what that song "Saucilito Summer" meant until very recently. I didn't know it was a place, I thought it was like saucy, or hot :)
