Oh man, oh man!!!

the hair is killing me. It's all sorts of fucking ugly right now. 1/2 and half coloring, all random layers from my old Extreme A-Line cut I got in July. It's flipping up at the ends like something straight out of 1962 and the mist and the rain is making it all puffy, even cutting through my heavy-greasy-smoothing crap I rub in it every day to help weigh it down. I'm not going to give in and cut it and be all cute though. Oh no. I made a decision and I'm sticking to it. I'm going to ride this one out. I want my hair to be long and natural in color. I haven't had hair longer than my shoulders since I was 19!!! That was 9 years ago. I'm ready for a change from the short black styles I've kept ever since. Plus I'm tired of dying my hair. It sucks. I'm putting on a brave face, and I'm growing my hair out long no matter how many "ugly stages" I have to go through. Everyone in San Francisco has short, black hair. I'd like to stand out for once.
